EPISODE 11

FC Viktoria Berlin | Lighthouse Project & Business Case: the Women's Team's Way to the Bundesliga

On the way to the top: in addition to the goal of moving up from the Regionalliga to the Bundesliga in five years, FC Viktoria Berlin has set itself the task of making a lasting change to women's soccer in Germany.

Since summer 2022, the regional league team has been led by six female investors who are passionate about the project and actively support the club on the "Road to Bundesliga."

Thanks to their ambitious concept, the founders have already achieved unique visibility in the regional league and generated a high level of media interest. Well-known sponsors such as Douglas and Stepstone joined the mission and contributed to Victoria's perception with their high reach.

What is the strategy behind such a business case? And what has been achieved so far through the measures implemented? Find out this and much more in the latest episode of the SPORT1 Brown Bag Session with Lisa Währer, Co-Founder & Managing Director at FC Viktoria Berlin.

Episode only available in german language.
