The darts flying, the hall shaking, the fans going crazy - not only in London's Ally Pally was there the unique darts feeling to be felt at the 2023 World Darts Championship, also in the SPORT1 Darts Hall in the Metaverse, darts fans were offered a completely new kind of sports consumption with spectacular events! More and more companies are orienting themselves towards the Metaverse and using the great potential of the growing platform as an advertising medium for their brand. Sebastian Thelen, founder (Co-Founder and CEO of 42 Ads GmbH), together with SPORT1 CCO and member of the Executive Board, Matthias Reichert, explain how such brand integration succeeds and whether the Metaverse is now also "the next big thing" in sports.
