Our trusting and successful partnership with the Bundesliga dates back to 1993 - last June, we were able to significantly expand our core soccer rights for the new rights period from the 2021/22 season up to and including 2024/25. The three extensive license packages from the new season include the following rights, free-to-air in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - the "triple" for all soccer fans and our advertising customers:

The digital highlight clips and the complete Bundesliga archive of the DFL - the soccer heart beats even louder and higher on SPORT1.de, the SPORT1 apps and our social media channels with many new formats and "best of" compilations.

The top match of the 2nd Bundesliga on the new primetime slot on Saturday evenings live, in free-TV exclusively and in livestream - the only weekly live match from German professional soccer finally returns to free-TV.

The exclusive highlight rights package to the Bundesliga and 2nd Liga on our "holy soccer Sunday" between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., which is already kept up to date and is exploited in "Doppelpass" and highlight magazines - for eight hours, the ball only rolls in our exclusive Bundesliga programming window on free TV.
